This is a 32 hour per week position.
Work hours are somewhere between 7 am and 5:30 pm dependent on the position and patient needs. Some positions may work on a Saturday rotation with hours between 7 am and 12 pm.
This position may require traveling to all of our locations.
Wage Range: $20.40 – $24.10

Job Summary:
The LASIK Surgical Coordinator plays a key role in the development, implementation, and management of the LASIK and refractive surgery service line. Duties include consultation, patient education, pre-operative and post-operative care, and maintain patient records. This includes assisting with internal and external marketing strategies, staff training, patient education, and establishing a referral network. The LASIK Coordinator serves as the main liaison between MDs, management, staff, and referring physicians, ensuring clear communication and efficient coordination of surgical activities. The LASIK Coordinator will ensure that all patients are educated and prepared for their consultation, procedure, and receive comprehensive care during their recovery.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One or more years of experience in a healthcare setting required
- One to two years of sales experience preferred
- One to two years of ophthalmic/optometric experience preferred
